Max Toy

Programs Used: Rhinoceros and KeyShot

The purpose of this project was to make a toy that has movable parts and is interesting to look at for all ages. Inspired by Japanese anime, I decided to make a small toy that cute yet slightly creepy. I designed it with the purpose of being interactive so I made the eyes that go all around the body movable. I also strived to make the toy functional by adding a little space in the body and allowing the hair to serve the purpose of being a cap to cover the usable space.

Design Process

After creating the toy design in Rhino and rendering it in Keyshot, a three dimensional version was made using a FDM 3D printer. Purposely making all the eyeballs moveable and the hat/hair removable, the toy became interactive and more interesting.
